One for the Money.

Two for the Show, Three to get Ready, Four to GO!!! A chant of courage with a hint of peer pressure... My brother and I would chant this as kids. We'd swing higher and higher on our swing set as we built up the courage to jump. A lot of build-up for a few mere seconds of flight, but the flight was so worth it. It made us forget all about the past. At 7, and 11 - we were gravity defying. We could soar.

I made it past the show. He has been getting me ready. It's time to go. I guess I'm going to start a blog. I love the Lord. I love the outdoors. I love my family (and friends). I suppose that's what I'm going to write about. That's about all you get with me. Well, maybe a few stray beard hairs, but I don't charge much for those. I will be adding to the site as we go; maybe some good recipes or links to some really good outdoor and hunting resources. It will take some time and it will have it's trials. I think it will be fun.

I will say I don't have plans or goals for this blog yet..., but I have given it to God. I'm hoping through some mediocre ability, a little luck and a whole lot of the Holy Spirit I can weave kingdom principles into every part of this endeavor. You will notice I don't have a "Kingdom." tab up top on the menu, because I want the whole thing to be about the kingdom. The outdoors and my family; those are the things that make my life full. I enjoy them all as gifts from God and I'm so thankful for them. Thanks for checking it out, and I can only pray that the readers of these words get the opportunity to meet the One who has given me life.... life to the full. His name is Jesus.
